read the best book last night..... The Birthing House.... set in World War 1... Nova Scotia....the story of a young girl who became a midwife, the hills people, their superstitions and cultures , her battles with the doctor who moved to their village and wanted all the women to come to him to have their babies, his ideas were as weird as the superstitions..... they way women were treated and how men ruled over them.... it was a page turner.... google it and download to your kindle for under $5.....
