Id like share a rather personal discovery which moved me today. So I was reflecting this morning on how I usually spend my time and I discovered that the way I live, I spend about 12 hours of the day in self care and simply being (things like sleep, exercise, long walks, meditation, reading, reflection, gratitude practices, journaling, meals and body care). And 12 hours of the day connecting with others and spreading happiness (things like writing, facilitating, listening, supporting, teaching, being with my family, talking with my wife, responding to emails and calls, organizing happiness joyshops and retreats, laughing and other joyful and inspired actions). This discovery made me feel happy and content. Without even intending to, the inner seemed to have found a balance with the outer. There is a feeling of quietness, and an even deeper trusting in the wisdom non-doing now. In other words, by simply being committed to following my bliss, the so called work-life balance took care of itself. Isnt it amazing?
