Id like to call this video: How NOT to Deadlift: Gym Etiquette 101...Minding my own business when suddenly I thought an earthquake hit Atlanta. No, turns out this guy just has no clue how to complete a rep. Been watching this guy deadlift - okay, lets call it what it is: picking up weight and dropping it from 3 feet above ground- for 3 of his sets now (as I write this hes loading the bar with some 10s & 5s, maxing out, baby!!!) using this exact technique. In between his sets (he abides by the 5 mins in between sets rule) he has blown on his hands, drank from the water fountain, browsed his phone and strecthed. Im somewhat amused by now. I thought he would have done down in weight, but instead Ive seen him add over 100 lbs. throughout his sets. Folks, if you cant complete your rep without dropping the weight, then that weight is not for you. And if you werent aware, dropping 360 lbs. From 3 feet above the ground is annoying as hell. In the words of Kevin Hart, He wasnt ready! Note: The camera shaking is not for effect. This is really from him dropping the bar.
