Id like to commend the Detroit Police for not killing the armed man who held people hostage inside the coney island for a short time. The man proved to have a mental disorder and the gun was not a real. Had this been somewhere else the man more than likely would have been killed on sight. Very proud of the officers for using communication and mediation methods to help end this situation safely for everyone. Also, s/o to the former governor of Michigan for shutting down the mental health care facilities that this state is in desperate need of. Youre the real MVP.
