Id like to name and shame Dianah Gotsang and her fedex team for a shoddy job. As well as certain Fedex offices in the US. The entire transaction was a nightmare. Youd think if you were paying more than $100 to have something shipped they would do it right. But no. Fedex US did not fill in all the forms. My parcel was detained in SA. Fedex Botswana decided to take their time in letting me know. I always had to run after them to get information they were supposed to give me. I called them so many times Ive lost count. They never got back to me like they promised, Id have to call them. Then one morning whilst waiting for my parcel I get a call from the sender in the US telling me I better go pick it up in Francistown or it will be returned the next day. Panicking I start calling every fedex Bowana number I can find. Only for Dianah and her team to inform me that my parcel was held up by BURS and its in Gaborone. It was like I was dealing with 2 different companies that dont know the other exists. They inform me of the tax I tell them Ill pay on delivery. They tell me the parcel will be there the next day. They were unable to give me a time estimate meaning my whole day was to be spent waiting for fedex to call. I called them at one point and asked if they had an ETA for Francitown. Only to be told, my parcel would not be coming that day but on a Monday instead. Monday arrives and the driver calls me telling me he is low on airtime. I pay $100 to ship something the size of a postage stamp (literally) and you cant even affod to call me? They wanted me to come pick it up at the office despite my having paid for it to be put in my hands at my front door. I will not be using Fedex again because now I know the ex is short for Exasperating.
