Id like to tell you about a neat moment that happened late Friday night. Do you all remember when I did an RIP for former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end L.C. Greenwood and I told you all that when my group leader at an FCA Camp said that he played defensive end at (what was then called) West Texas State and I said Oh, like L.C. Greenwood? and he said Not quite. More like (former Dallas Cowboys defensive end) Harvey Martin! Well, what do you know? I saw him on television!! Fox Sports Southwest has this late night program called Friday Night Scoreboard Live, which is supposed to be high school football highlights throughout the state. The best part of the show is the Dairy Queen Game of the Week. This most recent week it was Carthage at Jasper, two East Texas schools. Before the show went to the guy in Jasper who was doing The Game of the Week, it showed a clip from the last time the show had been in Jasper, which was in 2004. It showed a minister playing a small organ and leading the football team in singing. When the person introducing thee clip started talking, he said Pastor Todd Hunt... Todd was the group leader I had told you about who had said he was more like Harvey Martin than L.C. Greenwood! Even though it was from 2004, it was nice to see him again.
