Id like to thank everyone again who came to the beautiful wedding of Jesse Ian Blackwell and I. I could not possibly begin to tag you all in this post but please know that the unending joy Ive been feeling since Saturday is absolutely because of your love and support. Thank you for making this once in a lifetime moment a priority in your busy lives. Your presence was vital to Jesse and I. It meant EVERYTHING. The gifts you have given are just extra buttercream on our delicious wedding cake :) your presence was the perfect gift. We are eternally grateful. Im still sorely lacking in appropriate words to express our love and thanks just as I was on Saturday evening...but truly THANK YOU. You are deeply and sincerely and exuberantly loved by Jesse and I. Always. To add to that thanks I must express my deep gratitude to the vendors who made our day full of perfect gothic magic for us :) First and foremost to our parents for supporting us through the crazy process of wedding planning both financially and emotionally (and for making it clear to me Id regret eloping just to save money and stress...it was indeed worth it...I couldnt imagine not having these memories now) and our bridesmaids and groomsman for their unending support and love through all the craziness and keeping us smiling. Many thanks to Evellyn Barney for the insurmountable task of creating and teaching us our first dance ( I dont know why Facebook wont let me tag you) Michelle Kinkaid - Makeup Artist for making us girls have extra gorgeous faces, Beverly / Hello Curls for giving me the most perfect hair day of my life, Lindsay Lombardi for making my groom and his men even more handsome, the amazing venue, food and bartending by Event Architects, the incredible florals, candles, decor (and LIVE birds!) by Conrad Hughes, the wonderful attention to detail, artistry and seemingly unending patience by both our photographer Sarah Duncklee and our cinematographer Travis Allen (we cant wait to see what you two magicians create!) to the magical lighting and fog created by Lite Sacramento and the most DELICIOUS wedding cake and desserts of my life by Danielle at Blue Sugar Cupcakes and my now mother in law Susan Burke!!! and finally a huge thank you to our epic DJ Ron Boehler; youre a total professional and you kept the party hopping all night, we only wanted you from the beginning and were so grateful you lent us your talent, a deep huge thank you to Bill Cummins, Jebby Moates, Gianna Nemie, Lauren Paul, Jen Paul and Romy Evans and my mother for helping create such a beautiful sacred wedding ceremony. The most important moment of the day, the entire point and it was more than we could have dreamed. And finally an inexpressible thank you to my husband for chasing after me all these years when I tried to run...for choosing me, and us when I wouldnt. For staying and for asking...for holding me to my yes and given me the gift of I DO. You are who I was created to dance darkly through life and eternity with. I love you.
