If Election Commission follows the following guidelines for Voters Education & Protection, Voters will exercise their voting right in a most prudent manner. This is How Country/Democracy Suffers Without Voters’ Education & Protection India desperately needs Voters Education & Protection to save the masses from the poverty, social injustice, corrupt & criminal governance in the country. This is a basic requirement for better, matured, real and stronger Democracy in the country. Indian Democracy suffers from many deficiencies, the major being the absence of Voters Education & Protection, the most essential for the Real & Strongest Democracy. Without the same democracy is corrupt, weak and mostly serves the vested interests. The Government had enacted laws for the Consumers /Investors Education & Protection but neglected to Educate & Protect Voters to indulge in political and administrative corruption and other misadventures. Voters are to be educated about the main features of the real, matured democracy and the leadership qualities required in their elected representatives for dynamic and effective leadership for public welfare. Voters are to be protected from the false promises, corrupt, criminal, oppressive governance and social injustice. Country got the most essential laws like Right to information & education only after 60/65 years of independence but Voters’ Education & Protection remains neglected by the Govt. What the Government does at present is not adequate and real Voters Education & Protection. Government must enact an excellent law or amend the Peoples’ Representation Act suitably. Just be aware, how the country suffers without Voters Education & Protection: Representation of Peoples Act, 1950-51 is bogus and conspiracy against Democracy started immediately after independence. Elections were/will be never free, fair, fearless & just. Voter’s turnout during elections remains extremely poor. Social disparities are created leading to social injustice. People are compelled to resort to illegal activities for their survival, eg, illegal hawkers and illegal slum dwellers. People live poor and substandard life, in fact, live like pigs. Pre-Independence Laws not suitable to Democracy are still followed in the country. Politicians wrongly occupy both Houses of Parliament; Rajya Sabha must be entirely reserved for civil society only. Public Servants without Public Spirit & Aptitude govern the country. Democracy serves corrupt, political & other vested interests. Country does not have/has not produced statesmen having better vision and mission for Democracy & public welfare. Corruption has spread in governance all over the country & in all lifestyles. People got Rights to Information & Education after 60/65 years of Independence. Public Servants behave as Masters, which is against the Democratic principles. Corrupt & Criminals get elected and occupy seats in Parliament/Assemblies/Municipal Corporations, Panchayats, who must be in a jail in reality. Voters do not know what real democracy is. Election is about the right choice. Voters cannot make right choice, best for the democracy and public welfare. Political Parties exploit people through various corrupt & undemocratic methods. Dynastic politics becomes more prevalent and gets strengthened which is against real Democracy. Political Party with money, muscle power and influence highjack elections. Politicians never enact excellent laws and policies for public welfare & social justice. Country is disgraced as most corrupt & it is at the bottom of all public welfare & good governance surveys. MPs/MLAs legislate for everything except for themselves. There is no Regulator for Political Parties. Politicians “divide & rule” in the country.
