If Hitchcock were to do a remake of the movie Stranger on a Train - TopicsExpress

If Hitchcock were to do a remake of the movie Stranger on a Train in modern day NYC, it would consist of a lot of people looking at their phones and would last all of 3 minutes. Virtually no human interaction whatsoever, on the part of most people. Thankfully, I did manage to get help from a lovely young man when I accidentally got on the express train uptown (he literally showed me how to get off the express and got on the local with me) and shared smiles and family talk with another guy, about my age, holding an adorable baby, his son. Learned all about his family, his career and he gave us a better way to get to the memorial (he and Mike exchanged business cards). On yet another subway car, I had just sat down when a young mom got on with a stroller and two young kids in tow. I got up to allow them to sit where I was and when I did, a young man got up, tapped my shoulder and gave me his seat. Its a busy place and a lot of people dont smile back, but when they do, its great!
