If I cant dare to utter What must be said, Then empty and emburdened I must tread- For what are thoughts If words cant breathe them life And who am I, and what are we If lacking compassion for humanity. If not humbled by the graces of our Gods, If not open to deliverance from our thoughts- And freedom from the solitude within .. Understanding for each other and our vices, Using, not abusing our devices.. If I must take a knee with struggled steps, Reaching to my depths, with my last breaths, to say what I must say in dissolution, With no fear of repercussion or conclusion My own reclusiveness allowing me To be amongst myself, and be set free... Then I alone will stand with mended leg, with endless paths before me I must tread, some steep and others narrow, dark, and clouted, that lead to open pastures, youthful fountains, where we can take ourselves back to a place Where all our scars and pains could be erased, and all the voices that we long to hear, would ring loudly in our ears, forever clear- For loss is just the bitterness we feel, the frost for the ones that we held dear, who left into the ashes of our pasts.. So we must never leave this earth with words unspoken, Casted from this earth but never broken- Learning from our doubts and our misfortunes, And casting them away, To ease distortions-- For we all came to this earth within our mothers, And we must part, with them, Within ourselves.. As though we never parted. Severed from the cord but not the mind, the heart the soul could leave them not, behind-- Our memories must seize the hands of time For we are all bound to our mortal fates Though our presence here, can never be erased No natural disaster can negate our sheer existence So we must never choose the path Of least resistance But rather forge against the grain, To honor those before us in their graves, the ones before us, captured, and enslaved, to lighten that embodiment of rage, we must dare to delve beneath the surface, and never fear the things that may resurface.
