If I could illustrate to you how life works and all the events - TopicsExpress

If I could illustrate to you how life works and all the events that unfold within the time we spend here, encompassing everything from beautiful and harrowing to extraordinary and difficult--maddening, heartbreaking, painful, magical, etc... it would be with this: The Labyrinth. I think its reasonable to say most of us think of time as something very linear: Events unfolding in an order one after the next. But its not really like that. The labyrinth is paradoxical in the sense that it is both a line and a circle. You cannot get lost in it (its not a maze) even though sometimes, you dont understand why youre going in an opposing direction to your destination: The Center. And even though you are walking one foot in front of the other, getting closer and closer to the center, when you least expect it the line swings you way back out to the edge. And youre wondering, WTF?? I was stepping one foot in front of the other! --This makes NO SENSE! Did I miss a step? NO. Thats just Life. But no matter what --you always reach it. You just have to trust that the path WILL take you there. In this sense, even though we think of life as linear, it really isnt. Its a spiral path pulsating in and out. Life the past few days has reached a CENTER POINT for me--in several ways. And DAMN has it taken me ages, hard work, blood, sweat and tears to get here. I can breath and rest--finally. Integrating and processing all the knowledge I have gained from the meandering and applying it once and for all as WISDOM --like some kind of super power. ;) (For a moment). Then, once this phase is finished--I will step into it and begin again for the next tier of life. We THINK the substance of life is that point when we finally reach the center. But honestly? The center is just the resting place. The QUIET place. The Grace given to us by the IS, God, the Universe--The place of integration and application. We are never done learning. Not ever. The substance? The stuff were after??? -- truly lies within the twisted path we walk. And that is the message of the Labyrinth (one message-it has many others, but for now: THIS). That is the message of Life. Le temps revient. And if I could illustrate for you, Life... it would be this image.
