If I learned nothing else in 2014 I learned to stay focused, put my happiness FIRST and to live each day like it is my last. There are so many things I had hoped to accomplish this year that I simply didnt. I was often discouraged, sidetracked and for the most part unhappy. Then to add insult to injury I lost one of the most important pieces to my lifes puzzle - my Mother. My mother was more than just a parent to me, she was my confidant and best friend. There are still times when I reach for the phone throughout my day to send her a text about something I saw or to vent or something like that and I have to stop myself because she simply wont respond. Its hard adjusting to spending every day of your life with someone to no longer having them there with you. At this point in my life if Im not happy then I simply will not be bothered because my mother always told me MY happiness should be the most important thing to me. Mommy, I fully get what you mean now and dont worry. Im slowly but surely working my way back to being happy. 2014 also showed me who really has my best interests at heart and who is truly out for self. I learned you simply cannot give everyone the benefit of the doubt, especially if theyve already proven they dont deserve it. My next couple of projects will be personal ones, Im going back to my essence and doing what I want, how I want and for me. My sisters have been yelling at me to go back and Im listening now
