If I like it or not they have their freedom. I have to respect their freedom. I have no respect for them or what they have done with it. The narrator keeps saying its not their flag and he respects their service but it is just a piece of cloth. First of all if he had any respect what so ever he would have kept his mouth shut and let the collect the remnants of the flag. This person has no idea of the sacrifices made for that piece of cloth and what it stands for. He has no clue about the freedom he enjoys while in many other counties the soldiers would have simply gunned him and all around him down for what he did. More over I do not believe he has the strength to defend the very freedom he enjoys. To him freedom is a given. Something he has known from birth. He probably will never lose it. He will probably never have to fight for it. He will never know how precious it is. Again I know it is his right and I believe that the Guardsman there showed what honor and dignity truly are.
