If Michael could post about the race while on the bike, Im sure he would but I have his phone. Ill do the gesture :) Ironman Chattanooga is well underway. Great weather for this race. Began at 4am this morning and the swim went off around 7:35. Swimming with the current, Michael Edens was hoping for under an hour for the swim. He came out 40th with 51:32 swim. After he took off for this point to point swim, I got on my mountain bike and headed for the swim exit, taking pictures along the way. I met up with his parents and aunt near the finish to catch him running to transition. He is now well over halfway on the bike, averaging near 21mph. We drove to the turn around of the two loop course to catch some photos and cheer for him. We drove 15 minutes to see him for 10 seconds and not even a Hey, thanks guys! As if he is doing anything :) We are patiently waiting his return from the bike as Bryan Edens watches football, the ladies Laura Edens and Cyndi Edens go shopping and I make the post race tuna salad for the Ironman.
