If WE want to do the right thing that will finally... ultimately... bring that JOY and PEACE in our lives that we all so desperately search for with each passing day... HERE IT IS... This man called JESUS went all the way to... and through... that cross business for ONLY ONE REASON: so that you and I would NOT HAVE TO... Yes, HE IS THAT IMPORTANT... Hes not just the little infant that was born to us this time of the year... HE is THAT SAVIOR... who died on that horrific old wooden cross... HOURS AND HOURS OF HORRIBLE TORTURE AND PAIN... He suffered, experienced, and endured the valley of the shadow of death... HE EXPERIENCED THE STING OF DEATH... AND IN SO DOING, HE CONQUERED Satans last hold on us... HE CONQUERED DEATH ITSELF!!! ... so that you and I would only see a shadow while we are passing through that valley called death. We Christians dont DIE... we fall asleep... our spirits immediate separate from our sleeping corruptible bodies... a special PERSONAL ANGEL transports each of us, His FOLLOWERS, within a millisecond into the very presence of FATHER GOD and all the SAINTS that went before us. Dont get me to talking about what happens if we have rejected such an undeserved GIFT called SALVATION. I will say this... its such a BAD CHOICE... ETERNAL HORRIFIC CHOICE... that none of us wants to go there. Its a place called HELL. God invented Hell for old forked-tail himself... and all of his demons (fallen angels)... HE DID NOT create such a place for you and I... but... BUT... if we prove to be SO STUPID, BLIND, SHORT-SIGHTED, UN-CARING as to reject this supreme sacrificial GIFT that God has so freely offered to each of us who will but only TRUST HIM... JESUS... GODS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON... If this is where we find ourselves today, WE CONDEMN OURSELVES to such an unspeakable place. The only thing thats keeping you, the unsaved person, from being THERE within the next minute is one simple, FRAGILE, thing: THAT HEART BEAT within your breast. When that heart beat ceases, you and I - at that specific point and place in time - will have made our ETERNAL DECISION which will decide where we will FOREVER SPEND ETERNITY! ITS CHRISTMAS TIME...LET US MAKE THIS THE REASON FOR OUR SEASON... LET US WORSHIP KING JESUS and reach out as far as we possibly can to grab the hands of those sinners who are flying by us as if to be trapped in a HUGE TSUNAMI, sweeping them over that hellish precipice into the very pits of HELL... acres and acres of nothing but stench, pain, heat, darkness, sulfuric fumes, solitude (no fancy ladies or partying buddies around)... no presence of GOD or the influence of His Bride, THE CHURCH, anywhere around to offer just sip of pain-relieving refreshment... and this lasts forever... and ever... and ever... after 10,000 years... continuing... for ever... and ever... etc. etc. etc. If this was Dr. Billy Graham closing one of his world-renown stadium- packed revivals, he would have arranged for Bro. George Beverly Shea to begin singing (at a moment like this): Just as I am, without one plea... but that thy blood was shed for me, and that Thou biddst me come to Thee, O LAMB OF GOD, I COME! I COME!...
