If an alien invasion were to ever occur, I like to think its our own fault. Should they be observing us to learn our customs, the main thing theyll take away from our interactions is that we war with each other a lot. And so to greet us, theyll invade and slaughter us as we did to one another to try and be accepted. Oppression, brutality, cruelty, neglect, and corruption. Thats what is most prevalent in our racial culture as humans, and is what will eventually kill us when interplanetary communication begins. I just feel sorry for whatever planets we come across when we CAN terraform and travel worlds successfully.
