If any of you think this is just a made up article your wrong. This is fact. Read it. Learn it. Stop it! I have two thoroughbreds, one 11 one 7. Both of them were bread and trained for racing, one wasnt fast enough, the other bled from the nose due to the stress she was put under. Each horse has taken over a year to rehabilitate, each horse STILL has on going psychological issues. There are more horses being bred then we can save. These horses, are being discarded and killed as BABYS because there is a saturated market for troublesome thoroughbreds. They live traumatic short lives only to become pet food. For those of you who celebrated Melbourne cup, I hope your proud knowing that your money and vanity is what helped support this reality. For those of you who had no idea, make a change!
