Basic knowledge of Civil Construction needed. Strong Communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised is a must. Job Consists of Management of Sub-Contractors and the ability to motivate them as needed. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings needed. Surveying skills is a plus. You would be overseeing numerous jobs with site visits weekly or by weekly as per Owner/Engineers request. Knowledge of running Construction progress meetings and or attending GC Progress meetings is a plus. Basic knowledge of Word and excel needed with knowledge of Microsoft project being a plus. Construction estimating is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. The job is approximately 70% travel on a daily basis but usually travel is per day and you will be home most nights. Approximately 50 hotel nights a year. You would be working out of a home office. Job is salary based. Relocation to Texas is a must but a large area to choose from as where you would live from Houston, DFW and San Antonio areas all acceptable.
