If interested in understanding how come Azania is where it is, - TopicsExpress

If interested in understanding how come Azania is where it is, this is the commemoration to attend. I remember Thami Mcerwa as a fearless fighter. One of many who waged the battled inside the colonial borders that mark Azania. I am also reminded of Muntu ka Myeza and the indomitable Zephania Mothopeng, the Lion of Azania, who was re-arrested soon after his release for his alleged involvement in the June 16, 1976 Student Uprising. These are the leaders that led and fought the war of liberation inside the country, and no easy victories. I would urge, if you are keen on connecting the dots of our painful history, this is one of the occasions to attend. You are most likely to understand who the UDF, the proxy of the ANC inside Azania, was fighting and why. You will understand what liberation the ANC was fighting and why we are where we are as Black People of this country. Who does it serve in the grand scheme of things?
