If, lets say, your ASD child came home from school on a Friday, wearing a School Council badge, but there was no mention of why and how this came about in his diary, (if Ive checked once, Ive checked a hundred times)( theyre only human too, you know) and he REALLY cant give you any details or much information himself .. because, well, school stuff is school stuff, but you have managed to get him to tell you that his Teacher pinned that badge on his t-shirt, and thus calmed your fears that he may have swiped it from another child ... Would you be bursting with pride and excitement too ? To be continued ... :-)
