If more experienced quilters reached out a helping hand to less experienced quilters who might live near us imagine how many wonderful new friendships would be formed. I am in central Virginia, North Charlottesville, Culpeper, Orange, Madison, Fredericksburg. These places have quilt guilds but I dont think everyone is always interested in formal guilds. I have been quilting for nearly 30 years. I sew on antique machines as well as newer machines. I have a Tin Lizzie longarm but she doesnt have fancy bells and whistles or robotic stitching.
