If the world HATE YOU, you know that it hated Me before it hated you (John 15:18) … The main reason it’s so difficult to get Christians to WITNESS about Christ or do any type of EVANGELIZING the Gospel outside the church edifice is because they FEAR REJECTION and PERSECUTION. They really aren’t that sold on the prospect that telling others about Jesus will really make much difference in the overall scheme of the Kingdom. So they grow comfortable just occupying a pew on Sundays and then kicking back to wait on God to further bless them with SOMETHING. But Jesus said that when we are REJECTED or PERSECUTED, that they don’t hate US but hate HIM! Christians have to start wrapping our minds around the fact that if we are going to CONFESS being like Jesus, we are going to have to start GETTING OUTSIDE the church building as He did and spread the Gospel message to the lost. There is no BEING LIKE Jesus without exhibiting that aspect of Him along with the other. Remember: OBEDIENCE is BETTER than SACRIFICE; Jesus’ entire ministry stemmed on the fact that He OBEYED. He gave us a Great Commission: ARE YOU OBEYING IT
