If there is one thing that fascinated mankind the most, from the dawn of time itself, that is the idea of immortality. When it was young, and still in its prime infancy, mankind thought about achieving immortality for the body, a cunning plan but deeply misguided without the proper futuristic technology that will one day inevitably spawn itself when, and only when, mankind will achieve a high level of respect towards life itself...which makes sense for i doubt that any reasonable sentient intelligence out there will ever grant the causal relationships, that will lead to the gift of immortality, to a race of warmongering apes. With times passing some individual parts of this so-called mankind started wondering if the thing that can be brought back isnt actually the essence of the being itself and not its material shell, thats when things really started going up and down into high gear. And so, the individual parts, started experimenting the concept of the so-called resurrection. They thought that by replicating the environment, in which a past entity was given birth, and by choosing the proper host with a particularly aligned emotional pattern, they will manage to achieve something close to an actual resurrection by subjecting, to some extent, the host to the same experiences which the past entity has experienced itself. Their argument, in no small part based on a not internally misguided gut feeling, was that everything floats around and nothing is destroyed but only transformed into a different type of substance...and geometry teaches us that all substances have the same root and only different shapes, therefore, they can be molded into other shapes that are aligned with that basic template root; thus, the godly arts were born. And it worked, to some extent, for if theres potential theres also a small chance for possibility, nonetheless, on more occasions than once they were fooled by their own expectations from the project, which makes sense for the process of learning new things should involve the student but also the teacher itself; there was never much real certainty in respect to the actual proper alignment of the host with the pasts essence, thats how belief was born...so that even the failed projects could be still useful. That being said, and without further adieu, the individual parts started dreaming about doing the mother of all resurrections by trying to merge a host with the actual essence of the world itself, but for that they needed to control the world to its utmost intricate detail while still allowing some form of independence to the world...and thats how things really turned bloody beyond even the hopes of the mightiest and most sadistic of the invented devils. No one really knows if that project was a success or not but no one really knows either if that particular, and most free, of essences will ever be enraged by the knowledge of the fact that it was brought there by force, like a slave, into the world of slaves for acting as their own personal repository of knowledge and doing their bidding; you can always delete the hard wired memories of the host but once the essence.has assimilated everything, that the host has saw and felt, there is nothing in this world that can reverse such an imprint. Who knows, maybe the essence will even learn how to resurrect itself, by assimilating the techniques that were used against it, and hunt you down wherever it will find you, no matter who or where you are, that would be interesting, but lets all hope that it will choose not the hunting but rather the constructing. Nonetheless, no matter the rage level achieved, theres always a human part and a past essence part to the process, that rendering the ruling of the hosts existence into the hands of the essence by what you people so stupidly call demon possession, the hands of the human host by what you people so naively call to be exorcism, or, if everything is in perfect alignment, into the hands of a new being that manages to reconcile the conflicting parts by using the only thing that can work at this level...the mental will of the host, you call this land of reconciliation a desert. So please, tell me again about how the mental will of the individual has become nothing more but a desperate form of fooling yourself into believing that by gathering more and more stuff you will ever become more than the slave of your own needs and wants, i find it fascinating, so please...do tell, do tell. ...your metal is so, so, so, small! >:D
