If we only unite and support eachother during a tragedy/crisis, then we have A LOT more to learn. Supporting a #black-owned business should be a way of life; on a daily basis. Not just when an innocent black male is gunned down. I admire all the unity, but ppl are saying they want to #buyblack for only one day, and then start right back giving their money to these mega corporations. I mentioned this before about part-time revolutionaries..unfortunately, the struggle is a full time event. Take all those dollars you spend on jordans, cars, & clothes and open up a savings cd/IRA. Its far too much $$ being wasted in the wrong places. If we dont take back our buying power NOW, we never will be right, well just continue to be known as the liquid spenders.
