If we vote no in the upcoming referendum, we will be the first country in history to refuse our independence. I spend a lot of time in england and we Scots are viewed with utter contempt as a nation. The segregation of cultures is so bitter and racist down south. (Cue the London party goers to disagree) This is our future if we stay with them. Ukip are looking likely as a coalition government, that we will have no choice on as we are too insignificant in the voting numbers to count. It happens with each general election and we spread our cheeks and accept the scraps they throw us. Do the no voters really think theyll reward Scotland if we stay? Not a chance! They will have carte blanche to do whatever they wish cos we will prove how accepting we are, to the whim of a foreign country. I want my grandchildren(hopefully not too soon) to be proud of being Scottish, not to learn how weak previous generations were too afraid to control their own destiny. Personally I believe if you arent willing to fight for your own nation, you have no right to call yourself a Scot. It isnt getting better with england. Read the papers, research. Please open your eyes to this once in a lifetime opportunity. :)
