If you are looking for long term fitness and leanness you cant compare yourself to those that bulk and then do 3 month diets to get on stage one day - you have to allow your body to adapt and expect some trial and error. The people I know in the fitness industry that are lean year round dont crash diet, they listen and learn from their bodies year after year. Lasting results take much longer than quick fixes but the reward is youll have a body you love 365 days a year.
