If you are planning to visit the old downtown of Managua or check out the newly remodeled Malecón on the lakeshore, you may want to avoid the morning and perhaps early afternoon of December 10. Those opposing the canal project are holding a demonstration that day and AND those supporting it are now calling for a march to teach the anti-canal people a lesson. Theres no telling what may happen for sure, but some things are fairly easy to predict.
