If you are serious about coming to Australia to study you must sit for an English test. You can sit for either IELTS or TOEFL. You can find out where and when the tests are being conducted in a city near to you by going to their websites. ielts.org or toefl.org Most courses require at least an average of 5.5 in IELTS. If you get an average of 4.5 it is sufficient for you to be sponsored for extra English classes prior to the commencement of your course. You can ask for brochures of the courses available.
