If you had 24 hours to make a difference in your community, what would you do? See what these people did to #MakeTodayMatter. Imagine having a dream to do something that would make a real difference in your community – and then being given the opportunity to turn that dream into reality. Over the month of November 2014, thats exactly what happened. From Vancouver to Halifax and Boston to Miami, TD customers across North America where given the opportunity, and 24 hours, to make today matter in their communities. TD selected 24 customers with inspiring and impactful giving ideas and surprised them with both the money and support to make them come true. The acts rolled out in 24 communities across the U.S. and Canada and were as varied as the communities and the people living in them, including: Michael from London, Ontario who helped create a more accessible home for a neighbour in need, giving her back her independence. She is now able to use the wheelchair accessible ramp to easily get in and out of her house.
