If you have 15 mins spare then watch this great short film produced by Alan Wilcox about the survival of local fishing communities vs the need to regulate and protect fish stocks. The film focuses on the Kassiesbaai fishing community at Arniston and the De Hoop Marine Protected Area, and gives very balanced coverage to both arguments. Among others it features an interview with Colin Attwood, and also some underwater footage shot by Jean Tresfon and Alan Wilcox at De Hoop over the last few years.
