If you have a brain, you have mental health. And, like with the rest of the body, sometimes even otherwise good mental health gets interrupted. With about 20% of people experiencing a mental health problem or illness at any given time, it is shocking to learn that so few seek help and receive treatment. A major barrier is the attitude that we have toward mental health. Mark Henick uses his own experience, both as a patient and as a professional, to provide insight into how we can embrace vulnerability and live every day as a mental health advocate. Mark will be speaking at 7pm TONIGHT at the Marshall dAvray auditorium at part of the UNBSUs Mental Health Awareness Week. The event is free to attend, hope to see you there!
