If you have a child, it is your duty/your responsibility to make sure he/she is getting the proper nutrition they need for a healthy and viable life. Hot Cheetos, processed foods, sugary drinks, fast food, etcetera is NOT acceptable on a regular basis. Oh, so your child doesnt like vegetables, fruits and lean meat? Guess what? You havent tried hard enough to prepare them in a way that is delicious for them. You havent had them try them over and over again. Taste buds change. Something may not taste amazing to them now, but if you continue having them try it, they will adapt. Secondly, time is not an excuse. I understand that you are busy and tired. But you know what? I dont care! Youre child is worth more than that garbage you allow them to consume. Meal prep, sleep less, get your spouse and/or children to help you, get creative and research quick/healthy recipes for families. Figure it out!!! This CHILD obesity epidemic that our country has is pitiful. If you are a parent who is allowing your child to fall into these staggering statistics, effortlessly allowing them to be another number, you need to wake up.
