If you have great writing skills and would love to gain experience and exposure you can apply to become a Freelance Writer for Power of Refinement. This can easily advance into a Contributing Writer position. We are looking for writers who can: 1. Follow instructions. 2. Meet deadlines. 3. Contribute socially conscious, creative and thought-provoking articles. 3. Write with excellent grammar, flowing prose and an engaging voice. 4. Perform excellent research. 5. Provide original content and cite sources and/or provide hyperlinks to said sources. REQUIREMENTS * Age Requirement: 14 – 24 years old. * Frequency: Freelance Writers can contribute articles randomly; Contributing Writers are required to provide a minimum of one (1) article per week. * Length: Articles are required to be drafted 400 words or more. * Microsoft WORD: Proficiency in drafting and utilizing the program’s features. * Social Media: Promoting by posting Power of Refinement article links on various social media platforms weekly (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.). If you wish to apply for a position, please email us regarding your age, writing experience, education level, time which you can contribute, and about how many 400-word articles you can complete each day/week. Contributing Writers may be qualified for receiving school credit or internship credit. Please inquire for the qualifications within your respective High School or College. Also, please be prepared to send a sample article if your application is accepted so that we can judge your ability to follow instructions, self-edit, write, and to get a feel for your voice. Please attach work you have completed in the past so that we may use that as a basis for choosing your application.
