If you have or know someone that has children in K-12, you must attend the meeting on Common Core at the American Legion hall at 1450 Taney Rd in Frederick this Tuesday, the 10th at 6:00 PM. Common core is being portrayed as a federal program that will raise the standards of education, when in fact there is absolutely no proof that this expensive tax payer paid program takes control away from Parents and the states will in fact do this. Many professors have claimed the math standard is a joke, the language standard wants to teach students to read menus as part of the curriculum...Then consider the data collection that must be turned over to the government as part of the stipend they get for this program....they will collect info such as Parents religious and party affiliation, family income and even give kids iris scans as part of this utopian grandiose plam for development of human capital for a global labor market!! Attend this meeting and then read up on Agenda 21...
