If you or a loved one has a diagnosis of any kind, DO NOT LET IT - TopicsExpress

If you or a loved one has a diagnosis of any kind, DO NOT LET IT DEFINE YOU! We need to find our identity in Christ. We need to find our purpose in who God created us to be. We are ALL individuals. Do NOT let a diagnosis define you. God planned each and everyone of us with a purpose. When we draw nigh to Him He will draw nigh to us. He will reveal to you that purpose. You just have to listen to Him in the silent whisper. God does NOT make mistakes. He created you before the foundation of the world. He knew you before you were in your mothers womb. If you have a disability or a genetic disease, etc. have complete Faith and Trust God that He allowed it for a reason. You may be someone elses encouragement. Dont sell yourself short. God can use anyone to bring Glory to Him as long as they are willing. Remember that Moses stuttered and God used Him. Initially Moses was fearful but he obeyed God and led the Israelites out of Egypt. Remember no one thought that David could slew Goliath but he did and he later became King David. Your disability, disease, etc. is only temporary because this life is temporary. Find your comfort in knowing that your reward awaits you in Heaven. Run the race set before you with confidence and faith in God. Theres nothing more Glorious than our Heavenly riches. No amount of silver, gold or even ALL of the money in the world can compare to what God has in store for us. You are IMPORTANT to the Body of Christ. We all have different gifts do not let any diagnosis stop you from ever doing Gods work. Dont ever let satan steal your Joy. Praise Him every chance that you get. When you are in pain and suffering remember we are to Rejoice just as Christ did. Whenever I am in pain and I mean excruciating pain, I always focus on the cross and what Christ did. He was mocked, persecuted and spat upon and was the perfect lamb so that we may, one day, be co-heirs with Him. Quite honestly, the pain lessens. May God give you comfort for your pain, may He give you peace when you are troubled and may He give you strength when you are weak. I dont believe in prosperity speeches nor do I ever make demands on God as I know who He is and what He has done for each of us. Glory be to God! Psalm 139:13-16 13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Job 33:4 4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Ephesians 2:10 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Isaiah 64:8 8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
