But James says that, faith without works is dead! James 2:20 So, does this mean that we are saved by a dead faith? One could make this argument except of the explanation in James 2:14-18 It is plain from this that James is saying that if your faith doesnt produce good works, then its dead, useless. As usual though, if you hand pick your verses, you can make the bible say almost anything you want it to say!
