If you receive an unexpected SMS with a hyperlink to a website or to download an app to your phone, do not click on it! An SMS with a malicious hyperlink has been circulating. The hyperlink directs recipient to download a malicious app that target Android devices. Once downloaded to the device, the malware will access the device’s phone contacts and spread the malware to others in the contact list.
