If you see a big fat glow above the skies of Morristown, NJ tonight......it will be because our beautiful great niece Lucy is being honored by over 150 friends and family members who have raised more than $70,000 since her diagnosis in early September. We will be walking in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Societys Light the Night event. The LLS does amazing work to support patients and families and Paul and I could not be more grateful to or more proud of Emily and Petes special friends Marybeth Auriemma and Jenna DeQuila for organizing a team, designing and ordering t-shirts and raising the most money for the biggest team in the country tonight. Amazing! We love our niece Emily Garibaldi and nephew Pete Garibaldi so much and have watched (from afar) their journey as selfless, resilient, patient parents during the most difficult time one can imagine. My sweet sister Sherri Goldman will be with Lucy tonight so that Em and Pete can express their appreciation to Lucys team. We will miss you, sister, but its not surprising that you will be by Miss Lucys side to enable Pete and Em to come. WE LOVE LUCY.
