If you want a true Christmas message, please read the following which not only tells the story of a very brave little girl, but also highlights the fantastic job Brompton baby unit are doing for sick babies. Tiffanys mother, Catherine, has collected hundreds of signed petitions in order to save it from being closed and has even planned a parachute jump next April!. She really is an amazing young lady.Not only that, but while she has been fighting to keep the baby unit open she has also had her carers allowance taken away because the powers that be didnt think her baby needed full time care!!!!!! Now, comes the Christmas message. Because she wrote to the newspapers, spoke on the radio and twice appeared on television when she pointed out very graphically how, as her baby needed constant warmth and it really was a question of heating or eating, the DWP finally relented and Catherine won the victory! Yes I do believe in miracles, particularly at Christmas time, but I also believe we should also play our part particularly when it comes to tackling a heartless government who are not only threatening to close a first class baby unit, but taking away a pittance from a very sick baby. Well, done, Catherine. You are an inspiration to us all. Love and hugs xxx .
