If your God lets you live however you want, then your god is satan. Its absurd to say that we are children of God but He lets us live in sin, immorality, wickedness and He does absolutely nothing. When were truly born again, God begins to work in us to transform us for His glory. God WILL NOT let His children look and behave like the world. He will do a life time work of sanctification to cleanse us of idols, discipline us and conform us to the image of Christ. If were not convicted of sin,see no discipline, and He doesnt bring us to repentance its likely that we dont belong to Him. We must stop relying on our emotions and test and examine ourselves to scriptures. {Hebrews 12:6-8 My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?
