Why Bharat Ratna to Nehru & Tendulkar and not to Shaheed-e-azam - TopicsExpress

Why Bharat Ratna to Nehru & Tendulkar and not to Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh? Is it not a black day and unfortunate for Bharat when playboy and lover of British Edwina Mountbatten Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and selfish and cunning businessman-cum-Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar were easily awarded the Bharat Ratna-(highest civilian award of the Republic of Bharat) in 1955 and 2014 respectively? Every Bhartiya know that both (Nehru and Tendulkar) have least contribution to the progress of the nation. When many patriots (Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru,Sukdev, Azad, etc. were kissing the gallows for sake of India independence, Jawaharlal Nehru were busy in lighting cigarettes for Edwina Mountbatten. Further, author surprised when read two non-Indians, Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan of Pakistan in 1987 and the late former South African president Nelson Mandela in 1990 were easily conferred Bharat Ratna by Bharart Government whereas almost 83 years have passed since Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged to death, but trio especially Bhagat Singh branding/projected as terrorist in the Civil Services Mains examination by (UPSC). National Institute of Open School under chairmanship of Mr. M C Pant, IGONU & NCERT dared to call patriots Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru as terrorists in its text books. Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh, who was born on 28th September 1907, in village Banga in Layalpur district of Punjab (now in Pakistan). Bhagat Singh Ji played an immortal role and encouraged people to sacrifice their life for sake of Bharat independence from British Raj. Bhagat Singh who struggled to free people of undivided Bharat from the clutches of British imperialism. Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh (true son of nation), a revolutionary freedom fighter &legendary martyr who laid down his life at a young age of 23, for the freedom of Bharat from British Raj. Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh alongwith his comrades Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged by British on 23 March 1931 at 7:30 PM in Lahore jail. Is it not a national shame and greatest irony when Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) New Delhi has asked in Civil Services Exam MAIN-2007 in GENERAL STUDIES Paper- I in section C of 2nd question, examination held on October 26, 2007 in reproduced below :- “Evaluate the contribution of revolutionary terrorism represented by Bhagat Singh to the cause of India’s Struggle of independence” Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) has also called Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh as a ‘terrorist’in its history and civic book in 2011. The controversial book published by Goyal Brothers Prakashan and written by DN Kundra. In this controversial book, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bipin Chandra Pal have been referred to as “militants and extremists”, while Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev as “terrorists”. Author (Yudhvir Singh Lamba Bharatiya) has strongly condemned the description of Bhagat Singh as a “terrorist” by UPSC,ICSE,NIOS & NCERT. This is sheer dishonour and insult of legendary martyr Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh who laid town his life for country independence from British raj. It is unfortunate and national shame that even after 67 years of independence of Bharat from British, country students misleading by British tailored history written by illicit children of Thomas Babington Macaulay. Now author is describing hidden untold truth/ real story of both; playboy Nehru and cunning businessman-cum-Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. The greatnesses of worthless and characterless Nehru are myth. Sachin Tendulkar played cricket for 24 years. Cricket ruined 60 % Bharitya youth, must be banned in sovereign and independent India-Bharat? Cricket game is only played by merely 10-12 countries in this world which were salve under British raj. It is very depressing that 50% newspapers of India are always overflowed with cricketer or cricket related news and its update. Its difficult to understand as to why Indian’s media which not merely goes crazy about cricketer but also dedicated their front pages for cricket related news in Indias newspapers more often than any other serious & important issues. Why especially student’s community are ready to sacrifices or wastages their most precious time for watching this silly and foolish cricket game instead of their studies. George Bernard Shaw, 1925 Nobel Laureate in Literature for his masterpiece “Saint Joan” once said “Cricket is a game played by 22 flannelled fools and followed by 22,000 fools”. George Bernard Shaw was born July 26, 1856, in Dublin, Ireland and in 1876 he moved to London. Author totally agreed with this intelligent man’s (George Bernard Shaw) statement about foolish and stupid game namely cricket. George Bernard Shaws statement is extremely true & relevant even today. 1. Playboy and lover of British Edwina Mountbatten Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru (i) It beyond imagination why Gandhi opted Jawaharlal Nehru for post of Prime minister instead Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Patel often known as the Iron Man of India or Bismarck of India As per history record, 12 out of 15 Congress committees nominated Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel for the post of the President of Congress, and thereby the first Prime Minister of India and it pleasure to mention that remaining three Congress committees did not nominate any body’s name. Jawaharlal Nehru not able a got a single Congress committee nomination. (ii) According To Outlook Mazagine Under Heading “Top Secret Report Revealed-The Henderson Brooks Report” Eighty seven years old Neville Maxwell, the retired New Delhi correspondent for The Times, who published his controversial 1970 book Indias China War based on the top-secret Henderson-Brooks report, the Indian armys internal operational review of the debacle of the 1962 war against China, has put up a large section of the hitherto unseen report on his website. The report authored by the then Lt Gen Henderson Brooks and Brigadier P S Bhagat was commissioned by the Indian Army following its crushing defeat by the Chinese but the government has refrained from releasing its findings which, it said, were extremely sensitive and of current operational value. The demands for the report to be made public have periodically been made in the past, but the government has been unyielding. Based on an internal study by the Indian Army, the contents are not only extremely sensitive but are of current operational value, Defence Minister A.K. Antony told Lok Sabha in a written reply on April 2010. The report is particularly scathing about the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehrus Forward Policy, his favourite army officer Lt Gen BM Kaul, and the then director Intelligence Bureau BN Mullick for the debacle. Two years back, Claude Arpi, wrote an article for The Indian Defence Review on Why the Henderson-Brooks report has never been released! . (iii) Nehru love affair with Padmaja Naidu and Edwina Mountbatten. As per information available at Wikipedia under Rumoured affairs, Catherine Clement, author of Edwina and Nehru: A Novel, stated in an interview with the Times of India that Edwina in her letters to Lord Mountbatten has written that her relationship with Nehru was mostly platonic. Mostly, but not always. While Mountbattens daughter, Pamela acknowledged the close relationship with Nehru, she maintained that the relationship was nonphysical. Playboy Nehru had love affair with Sarojini Naidus daughter Padmaja Naidu, whom Nehru got appointed as the Governor of Bengal. Padmaja Naidu Sworn-In On as a Governor of Bengal on 03.11.1956. (iv) Thought of Shri Narendra Modi about Nehru On Oct 28, 2013 on occasion of opening ceremony of Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Smruti Smarak at AHMEDABAD, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi said the countrys destiny would have been different if Sardar Patel had become the first Prime Minister. Every Indian still regrets that he (Patel) did not become the first Prime Minister. Had he been the first Prime Minister, the countrys destiny would have been different, Narendra Modi added. 2. Selfish and cunning businessman-cum-Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar Ignoring Bharat Ratna to Legend Dhyan Chand is a national shame of the congress party. Here are some controversies that make Sachin Tendulkar unfit to get Bharata Ratna. Hockey legend Late Shri Dhyan Chand Ji deserved Bharat Ratna before Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar does not deserve for Bharat Ratna, it is only congress party’s decision to get vote by such cheap gimmick. One has to understand as to why congress party make so hurry to give Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar ignoring Bharat Ratna to Dhyan Chand Ji . The decision to award the Bharat Ratna to Tendulkar at the end 200 test matches at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, was taken by Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi with an eye on the youth voters. 1. Ball tampering charges: Sachin Tendulkar has been found guilty of ball tampering and given a suspended ban from Test cricket. Match referee Mike Denness found Tendulkar guilty of acting on the match ball while bowling on the third day of the Second Test against South Africa at Port Elizabeth. The Indian star appeared before Denness after footage of the incident had been viewed by the former England international. Tendulkar was banned for one Test match, though the sentence was suspended until 31 December 2001. He was also fined 75% of his match fee. 2 Ferrari’s custom duty imbroglio: Sachin was gifted a Ferrari 360 Modena in July 2002 by the automotive giant Ferrari commemorating Sachin Tendulkars feat of equalling Don Bradmans 29 centuries in Test. Indias then Finance Minister Jaswant Singh offered to waive customs duty imposed on the car as a measure to applaud his feat. However, the rules at the time stated that the customs duty can be waived only when receiving an automobile as a prize and not as a gift. Social activists protested the waiver. Subsequently, Sachin offered to pay the customs duty and the tab was finally picked up by Ferrari. 3. Cake Controversy: Sachin Tendulkar found himself at the centre of another controversy following a report that he had cut a cake in the colours of the national flag during the Indian teams stay in the West Indies in 2007. A photograph had emerged of Tendulkar with a knife about to cut the cake in the presence of Indian High Commissioner to Jamaica K L Agrawal. 4. Sachins New Home Controversy Sachin Tendulkar had been imposed a fine of Rs. 4.75 lakh by the BMC after he moved into his 79 crore dream house located in Bandra without an Occupancy Certificate (OC). Sachin decided to end the controversy surrounding his occupancy in his ground plus four-storey bungalow on Perry Cross Road at Bandra and paid Rs. 4.75 lakh as penalty to BMC. 5. Tendulkar the actor Tendulkar is the million dollar baby of Indian cricket as he opened the floodgates for the players into the commercial world. However, he demanded a tax exemption before the court for a part of his income by arguing that he had earned it as an actor. Tendulkar has featured in a number of television commercials and his lawyers argued that he had done that in the capacity of an actor and not as a sportsman. This too wasn’t received well by the public who believed that the millionaire had pockets deep enough to pay the said taxes. 6. Promotion of foreign brand/goods in India Sachin Tendulkar promoted every possible foreign brand like Boost Pepsi, Adidas, Britannia ,Fiat Palio ESPN Star Sports (2002–present),Canon (2006–09), G-Hanz (2005–07), Sanyo BPL (2007–present), Toshiba (2010–present), Colgate-Palmolive, Philips, VISA, Castrol India (2011–12), Ujala Techno Bright and Coca-Cola (2011–13) just for monetary benefits? Whereas both PepsiCo and Coca-Cola Co. agreed to change their product formulations nationally after a new California law would have required cans to come with a cancer warning -- but Pepsi hasnt made the change outside of California, according to The Center for Environmental Health. The ingredient in question is 4-Mel, found in caramel coloring. Sachin Tendulkar was chosen for the Bharat Ratna, after his farewell 200th Test against the West Indies in Mumbai on November 16, 2013. The process of conferring Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar was initiated on the first day of his farewell Test on November 14, 2013 last and the announcement made two days later, according to an RTI reply. A message was sent to Sports Ministry by the Prime Minister’s Office(PMO) signed by Director Rajeev Topno for sending a bio-data of Tendulkar in a faxed format at 1.35 PM on November 14, 2013, according to a document provided by the PMO to sports enthusiast Hemant Dube in response to a Right to Information(RTI) query. Sachin Tendulkar does not deserve for Bharat Ratna. 1. Sh. Shivanand Tiwari, Janata Dal-Uniteds Member of Parliament when in November 2014 he has said that hockey legend Dhyan Chand was more deserving of the Bharat Ratna than Sachin Tendulkar because the former played without monetary gains. Shivanand Tiwari voiced his anger over the government’s decision to give the Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar. Tiwari said the ministry concerned had shortlisted the name of Dhyan Chand for the Bharat Ratna not for Sachin Tendulkar. “I agree that Sachin is a brilliant cricketer, but we have to also understand that it’s the same game that has given him Rs 1000 cr. He has not played for free” 2. RTI activist Subhash Agarwal who told a television channe that “First of all to Sachin Tendulkar was given a Rajya Sabha ticket. Then, against the laws, two postage stamps were released on him -- the law states that a postage stamp can’t be released on a living person” It is also learnt from Prime minister office, Delhi (PMO) that the sports ministry had recommended the name of Major Dhyan Chand, and not cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, for the Bharat Ratna. 3. In controversial remarks, Press Council Chairperson Justice Markandey Katju had said that giving Bharat Ratna to cricketers and film stars, who have no social relevance, is making a mockery of the award.People are talking of giving Bharat Ratna to cricketers and film stars. This is the low cultural level to which we have sunk. We ignore our real heroes, and hail superficial ones. 4. News had published in the Times of India on Feb 5, 2014 under title “Stamp on Sachin Tendulkar rushed through, RTI reveals” Was the commemorative stamp on Sachin Tendulkar issued on November 14, 2013, rushed through after bypassing postal rules? Yes, says the postal department in a reply to an RTI filed by activist Subhash Agarwal on December 24, 2013. The cricketing icon played his last test against West Indies in Mumbai between November 14 and 18. Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and eminent scientist Prof C N R Rao were on Feb 4, 2014 conferred with Bharat Ratna, the countrys highest civilian honour by President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavans Durbar Hall at New Delhi. Is it not ridiculous, great irony and sheer example of national mental bankruptcy of India, a cricketer named Sachin Tendulkar played for himself, for money, not for nation, who has created records and assets for himself, within one hours after his retirement, the Indian government has announced for conferred him with the Bharat Ratna ?. Why legend Major Dhyan Chand Ji who only played hockey for India was ignored by govt for Bharart Ratan. Germany dictator, Hitler, after watching Dhyan Chand stupendous performance in hockey match at Berlin Olympics 1936, offered him the German citizenship and also a promotion in the German army. Of course, Dhyan Chand ji refused. Dyaanchand made INDIA proud by beating Germany in HOCKEY in front of ADOLF HITLER. The hockey wizard retired in 1948.Winning gold thrice at Olympic is not a child play. Dhyan Chand made India famous in hockey in Olympics when India under British rules. The Wizard of Hockey should not be forgotten for the Highest Civilian Honour of the country. Legendry hockey player Dhyan Chand deserved to be the first INDIAN to get this award for sports. When Pullela Gopichand, Badminton Champion won the British Tournament, one of the Soft Drink giant companies approached him for their advertisements as Brand Ambassador. But he (Gopichand) politely refused to do that and said with smile I am personally not drinking any kind of such cold drinks and I know that these drinks are not healthful our body. I would not want that even a single child who will drink such cold drink due to my advertisement is not good for him and overall country. Dhyan Chand Ji, won three successive Olympic gold medals at Amsterdam in 1928, Los Angles in 1932 and Berlin in 1936. He developed liver cancer, and was sent to a general ward at the AIIMS, New Delhi. Chand however died penniless and uncared for in a hospital, receiving a meager pension. He died on the 3rd of December 1979 penniless and uncared for in a hospital, receiving a meager pension.29 August, his birthday is celebrated as the National Sports Day in India. Sachin has made millions out of cricket. Dhyanchand was not having enough money for his illness and dead penniless. Bharat Ratan country’s highest civilian & prestigious award must be conferred to Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh, who embraced the gallows for the sake of freedom of the motherland from the clutches of the British. PM Narender Modi ji is requested to bestow Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh with Bharat Ratna. Yudhvir Singh Lamba Bharatiya,Jai Hind, Jai Bharat, Vande Matram,
