If youre in ministry and you missed Pastor E. Dewey Smith, Jr, tonight at #PLconf you missed a treat. Not only was it a profound message for all my Baptist brothers and sisters it shows you dont have to change your approach for a new audience be you and let God be glorified. I really enjoyed the fact that he took it to calvary in his close. We always say you have finished preaching until Hes died and got up early early eaaaaaaarly Sunday morning. Seriously this message will help put things in perspective when it comes to ministry and our mission. I am humbled to say He was my pastor during my formative years and started ministerial training under his watch. There is a blessing in carpentry! There is no shame in being a carpenter. Its time to rebuild, restore and repair the breeches. We have been called to serve!
