If you’re happy and you know it…shout ‘It’s storytime!’ Our Hinze Catchment Kids kicked off the first Storytime session of the term, by reading P. Crumble’s ‘If you’re happy and you know it’ – the Aussie Edition. The kids then went into the theatre to watch, sing and dance along to the multicultural version of the song. After lots of dancing and singing fun, they moved outdoors and created some amazing chalk art….there were dogs, people, flowers, names and even a pear! Next week we will be sharing ‘Super Worm’ by Julia Donaldson and we will attempt to make our very own worms using stockings and newspaper.
