Ill be teaching tonight at Mainstream on this oft-repeated evangelistic principle: “Preach the Gospel — occasionally use words.” I’ll explain why this can become a cop-out, giving us an excuse (or so we think) for not preaching and proclaiming the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ and carrying His life-changing message to others as effectively and efficiently as we can. At the same time, I’ll be talking about how there’s also some truth to this statement, since we are also called to LIVE OUT the gospel truth so that others would see Christ in us and be drawn to Him so they can be saved, and how the enemy tries to hamper us in both of these endeavors (saying and doing)...
