Ill never understand the desire to listen to music with depressing or negative lyrics, or lyrics that bring out or even amplify negative thoughts/emotions. Its one of the main reasons why I switched to listening to mainly japanese music. I always feel positive when listening to Japanese music even though, and perhaps especially because, I dont understand the lyrics. Plus the songs are almost always upbeat and end up cheering me up when Im depressed.
