Im Under Construction Man do not look at a foundation being built and despise it. Instead a feeling of wonder engulfes those who are looking at a building under construction. The question always becomes; I wonder what what they are building here. Could it be a house, a church, a clinic or is it perhaps a school? It is interesting that our expression is always positive when it relates to buildings but negative when it comes to people. One cannot help but wonder why cant the same attitude be applied to fellow humans. It would seem that we have been hardwired to be skeptical of others. Particularly when they are a little different to us in their expression. It is disappointing that those who claim themselves to have arrived dont seem to understand that a building has to be under construction before its true beauty can be revealed. Our attitude towards those we do not consider to have arrived seem to suggest that they should walk around with signs written Coming Soon just so we know that where they are is not their final destination. I remain hopeful that one day we will understand that the construction of humans unlike that of buildings takes place inside and then expressed externally.
