Im about to mind f*ck you all! Im a British born citizen and told I cannot be President of The United States since I was not born in a US territory. This is incorrect, and heres why. The founders were so concerned at protecting the Presidential qualifications by making them strict, they failed to pay the same diligence to The Speaker of The House qualifications. The Speaker of the House is third in Presidential succession. The constitution writes that to be a US representative you must be a US citizen for 7 years, (immigrants can become citizens through Marriage/Work Visa) 25 years old, and inhabitant of the state they represent! All achievable for me a British citizen. Once elected to the House an immigrant can be elected by his fellow representatives to be the Speaker of The House. If the President and Vice-President were to fall sick/be assassinated and be incapable of fulfilling their duties at the exact same time the Speaker of the House by default becomes the interim President until emergency elections are held! So yes a foreign born US citizen can be President. I concede that this is highly unlikely, but still possible! Theres a loop hole in everything if you look hard enough. :p
