Im also a 2012 grad and after hearing about this situation, like many, am ashamed of an institution that taught me so much and helped me to become the person I am today. Marian taught us how to value each others character, and revealed to us that human diversity is not simply an inexorable part of existence, but instead a beautiful aspect of life. Marian showed us how to be self-assured women, ready to make a difference in a world that is all too often in need of compassion. Marian taught us to be headstrong, confident in ourselves and any work we do. This is something Im proud of and wanted to share with all of you.
