Im always hearing some pastors say, Gods about to do this! Gods about to do that! Hes about to release a blessing! Hes about to bring you outta debt! Hes about to about to about to!!! I myself cannot be so presumptuous to say what God is about to do specifically in your lives but, I do know this. theres something even Even better than what Hes about to do. Its what He has already done! Allow me to paint a detailed perhaps even graphic word picture for you. Here we go.... deep breath! Ok so lets get a lil personal. I want you for a second to be honest with yourself & think about every single nasty, perverted, filthy, shameful act youve ever committed, especially the ones done in the dark behind closed doors... oh no! ok now add every wicked, vengeful, malicious, hateful thought youve ever had. As if thats not enough, add to the icky concoction every lie youve spoken, ever bad deed, every deception (even the lil ones) every dishonest act & finally every blasphemy & course from your lips. NOW LETS MULTIPLY THAT! starting from the first man created (Adam), fast forward throughout the centuries all the way to the last child that will ever be born! now add all of their sick, wicked & twisted deed, thoughts & words. Lets take all that filthy nastiness, & the combined guilt of thousands of years, Roll it all together into one tight compact ball of sin that drips with the very essence of absolute filth... Now imagine if you will, JESUS now takes that ball & pours out its contents onto His own being, becoming so drench that He Himself not only embodies & becomes the contents of it, He now has your guilt of it all also put Him & then finally drained of His last drop of blood... Then, as if thats not crazy enough. three whole days after His death,He rose from the dead & proved to the world He truly is God!!! How sick is that!?? haha! All that for the sole purpose of giving you a chance to know Him & through that deep friendship, give you the keys to heaven, for Jesus is that key! Who loves like this?! my friends, this is how holiness & salvation was offered & our sin debt paid. for a world He created & a people for whom the most part hate Him. This is Gods preemptive move made on your behalf, in His great hope that even though you are still in your sinful state, you have a great option. To be set free, to be washed of all your sin to be DECLARED righteous! now all you have to do is make your move! Ill tell you what though. What you have to do is Absolutely NOTHING compared to what JESUS already did... This is the good news of the gospel. you want truth? Well here it is!!!
