Im asking this because I honestly dont understand. Rude replies are not appreciated here, and are not helpful. What is the big deal about Fetch lands? Ive gotten over 20 fetch lands since Khans came out, 2 being foil, and sold them all for a total of 437 dollars. Everyone says Why would you sell fetch lands? They are SOOO good in decks. But all they do is allow you to tap and find either one land or another, and then shuffle your deck. I dont see how these fetch lands are superior in any way to scry lands or lands like Mana Confluence. I get that shuffling your deck in some decks is a good thing, especially if you have cards that make you put unwanted cards back on top of your library, but for the most part, what is the big deal of choosing a land between two lands and putting it on the battlefield? Scry lands you get either of the colour lands, any turn. So Id think thats superior, because I dont have to choose a land, I get both colours. I get that some people dont like that scry lands come in tapped, but if you play it first turn with nothing you can cast for 1 mana, who cares? Its giving you a chance to look at your next card, and if you have a card like Kiora, Crashing Wave which allows you to play an extra land, putting out a scry land that turn shouldnt really matter, because you still get the land. And Mana Confluence is like a fetch land except you can use it for any colour you wish, at each of your upkeeps. Can someone explain to me what makes Fetch lands Sooo superior? I see nothing great about them personally, but Ive been getting insults like that I Dont know how to play magic and that I need to learn how to play and that I dont know whats good in a deck etc, just because I dont find fetch lands that useful....? Can anyone explain to me the real big deal about fetch lands? [Someone who isnt rude and condescending]
